I'd forgotten about this until the picture happened to pop up tonight. This was a little gallery we visited in Santa Fe, where they offered glass-blowing demonstrations.
Yes, the jokes, they write themselves....

I was researching glass blowing a couple of months ago for a poem, and was very disturbed by the glory hole. Almost disturbed enough to use it, but good sense prevailed over my 13-year-old-girl giggle meter.
A glory hole made of glass...eeeeek!
Sara: I had no idea it was a real glassblowing term! (I just now looked it up on wikipedia.) That'll teach me to let my inner 13-year-old prevail...
Collin: It gets worse... the glory hole in glassblowing is actually a FURNACE! Eeeeeek indeed!
Hole-y hell. That's hilarious.
That reminds me of an Onion article
AJPL: :)
Jilly: That's hilarious! I love the Onion.
