In which we unleash our inner punk rocker

If you're interested in my long, detailed, and somewhat giddy review of tonight's (FREAKIN' AMAZING) concert by Amy Ray and the Volunteers, it's over that-a-way.

I am sweaty, my ears are ringing, and my voice is hoarse ... I love it. That's what's wrong with my life. There's not enough rock & roll in it.

And a little picture. One of these people is a dorky librarian. The other is a sweaty rockstar. It is left as an exercise for the reader to guess which one is which.

Hehehe... thanks guys. I'm fond of that picture myself. :) Amy is just too freakin' cool for words. I would actually dearly love to sit down with her someday and talk about the creative process, because her songwriting has evolved tremendously over the years and I'm really curious about what her process is like. Maybe someday I'll get to ask her about it. You know, when she shows up at my book signing asking for my autograph. ;) (*snerk*)

I'm still trying to figure out who's the rockstar and who's the librarian! ;-)

Great photo!

*grin* Silly people!

Emily, if I'd gotten shivers, it would have been from being drenched with sweat. Ms. Rockstar was ... slightly dewy. ;)

(She is, honestly, so freakin' *nice* that it's almost impossible to get all starstruck around her. True story.)
